Helen Croft

The late Helen Croft had a successful career in the field of vocational education and flexible delivery, and was involved with training for aged care from 1997. As the author of market-leading aged care textbooks, Caring in the Community and The Experienced Carer, she had worked in both the public and private sectors including directorships of TAFE and community colleges as well as private consulting roles to major industry and government clients.

Jenny Pitkin

Jenny Pitkin is a skilled educator who currently teaches at Victoria University Polytechnic in Ageing Support and Allied Health Assistance. Jenny also has extensive experience as a case manager working with older people in the community and, within that role, co-created a dementia training program for the general public, which was funded by a grant from the Commonwealth Government. Jenny has many community contacts with whom she meets and consults with to ensure that her teaching is up to date and relevant to the workforce. She also attends educational sessions and seminars related to industry and training.

Darren Dee

Darren Dee is an experienced educator who has been working in vocational education and training for the past six years in the area of community health. Darren specialises in blended learning and online delivery and teaches students studying Ageing Support at Victoria University Polytechnic. Previously, Darren has worked with private registered training organisations and has held numerous positions working in disability, aged care and community care. Darren continues to work closely with industry to ensure the most up-to-date knowledge and practices are reflected within his teaching.

Ali Moloney

Ali Moloney, BN, GCert CardiacN, GCert AdvN, GCert FlightN, GCertEd(AppLearn), BEdProfHons(AppLearn), Cert IV TAE, and PhD candidate (2021) at The University of the Sunshine Coast (USC). In addition to her extensive 25-year career in clinical and critical care nursing and 13 years teaching at TAFE, since 2018 Ali has worked as a tutor across all years of the Bachelor of Nursing program at USC. She is involved in the new USC campus at Moreton Bay and works with course coordinators on reviewing and collating feedback for future courses. Ali also has vast experience in rural and remote nursing, and emergency nursing.
