Sharon Rumble

Sharon has more than 20 years’ experience in accounting, managing the financial and reporting functions of various NSW government agencies. Her key area of expertise is budgets and management accounting. Sharon has been a part-time teacher of Accounting and Finance at Sydney TAFE’s St George College, and casual academic tutor in Accounting and Finance for the University of Wollongong, Southern Sydney Campus for the last eight years. One of Sharon’s primary interests is the development of teaching and learning resources, leading her to develop material for bespoke online courses for commercial and non-commercial clients of Sydney TAFE. The majority of her studies have been completed by distance, enabling her to gain an excellent working knowledge and understanding of the requirements of online learning from the perspective of the student. Sharon’s focus on eLearning and online facilitation is reflected in her writing and the complementary support materials she produces for both instructors and students. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Financial Administration from the University of New England, Armidale and is a full member of CPA Australia.
