Owen Smith

Owen Smith is currently Principle Advisory Officer (Plumbing) within Tasmania state Building and Plumbing Regulator. Owen Smith previously has been a plumbing and gas-fitting teacher, and manager in the TAFE sector since 2001 (TAS TAFE). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Adult and Vocational Education and was a foundation member of the National Plumbing and Services Training Advisory Group (NPSTAG).

Peter Wenning

Peter Wenning has been a Plumbing and Services teacher at Chisholm Institute of TAFE in Victoria since 2006. He is also an RPL assessor at Skills Tech QLD. Peter is an active contributor to the Plumbing Connection Magazine where he has published numerous articles and learning guides since 2003. He has a great reputation and recognition in the plumbing industry in Australia where he is the Victorian state representative of Institute of Plumbing Australia and a member of the National Plumbing Services Training Advisory Group (NAPSTAG).

Anthony Pingnam

Anthony Pingnam has been a full-time teacher at TAFE NSW since 2009. Previously he owned and operated a plumbing business for over 25 years, undertaking all facets of plumbing in the commercial, industrial and residential sectors, including design, tendering and contract management. With this experience as well as employing and training many apprentices throughout that time, becoming a teacher was a natural progression to impart knowledge and mentor apprentices.
